A multinational company with humble origins…
Established in 2000 by directors Andrew Hargreaves and Roger Pilkington, Fuel Proof Ltd initially began with the rental of fuel tanks and bowsers, rapidly expanding to meet the demand for secure and compliant fuel storage.
Within the first year, the hire fleet doubled to 50 tanks, and Fuel Proof introduced its own product line, designed and manufactured in-house.
In November 2001 the company relocated to a larger facility. Fuel Proof’s commitment to continuous product development led to its emergence as a leading manufacturer of fuel storage equipment.
Early in 2002, Fuel Proof introduced the popular ‘Fuelcube’ tank range, which has since become a flagship product. In 2003, they launched an ADR-compliant tank range to align with evolving diesel transportation regulations. Later that year, bulk tanks and water storage solutions were added to their portfolio, expanding their market reach.
By 2004, Fuel Proof’s reputation for high-quality, cost-effective products had driven record sales. In 2005, they diversified further by introducing aviation fuel storage equipment for aircraft refueling.
In September 2005, Fuel Proof finalized plans for a relocation and development program on a 5-acre site. The move was completed in early 2006, and extensive site developments followed. State-of-the-art machinery, including a CNC plate roller and laser cutting machine, enhanced production capabilities. Additional facilities, such as a spray booth and oven, were also established. Fuel Proof continued its growth trajectory, solidifying its position as a trusted name in fuel storage equipment.
Fast-forward to 2024, and Fuel Proof continues to go from strength to strength, with massive expansion work to its production facility, ramping up its product output even further.
